Qualifications

  • BS degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 1–3+ years in chemical, food, pharmaceutical, or related manufacturing environment.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification and experience applying CI methodologies.
  • Lean principles and 5S workplace organization experience.

Responsibilities

  • Support manufacturing technology activities across the Newark facility.
  • Identify and implement process improvement opportunities to enhance performance.
  • Partner with site Operations to optimize processes and improve efficiency.
  • Review and prioritize maintenance work requests aligned with strategies.
  • Develop and communicate maintenance and reliability programs to improve uptime.
  • Lead or support reliability improvement projects via data analysis and root-cause investigations.
  • Collaborate with Quality and Operations to maintain product quality.
  • Contribute to Operational Excellence projects across sites as needed.
