A leading automotive technology company in Nashville, IL is looking for a Process Engineer to develop manufacturing processes and coordinate launches of new programs. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of assembly manufacturing engineering experience and be competent in Auto-Cad. This full-time role offers an estimated salary range of $75,000 to $82,000, with opportunities for career development in a diverse environment.

Job Responsibilities

Develop manufacturing processes for new product/programs. (Specify assembly equipment, establish process flow, estimate labor requirements, develop work instructions, design and implement error proofing, etc.) Prepare quote and other customer required submissions.
Establish production floor layouts that promote lean manufacturing concepts and effective usage of space.
Coordinate department responsibilities for launches of new programs. Provide leadership and audit the process for manufacturing effectiveness and quality.
Represent Nascote at assembly plants for problem evaluation or during launches.
Represent Nascote at vendor shops to validate machines prior to delivery.
Investigate process problems using the 8D or similar problem-solving methodologies. Lead teams to effective solutions.
Periodically re-evaluate assembly processes for improved throughput, labor utilization, and quality.
Work various shifts, overtime, and weekends when required.
Preferred 2 years of assembly manufacturing engineering experience. Competent in use of Auto-Cad.
Preferred experience with robotics.
