Job summary

ABGi USA is seeking a Process Engineer to join our engineering and industrial clients’ team, working across the chemical, petrochemical, refining, and industrial sectors. You will contribute from concept through execution on diverse projects and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

We seek 2–7 years of experience with strong process simulation skills and a background in chemical engineering. The role offers opportunities to work on challenging projects and travel to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Chemical Engineering required.
• 2–7 years of process engineering experience in an EPC, consulting, or industrial manufacturing environment.
• Experience with process simulation software such as HYSYS, Aspen HYSYS, PROII, or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of process engineering fundamentals and process design.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to travel occasionally to client or project sites.

Responsibilities

• Develop process engineering deliverables including heat and material balances, Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), and Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
• Build and maintain process simulation models using HYSYS, PROII, or similar software.
• Perform hydraulic calculations and evaluate process equipment performance.
• Develop process designs for new and existing facilities.
• Prepare engineering reports, technical documentation, and process design packages (PDPs).
• Collaborate with mechanical, piping, instrumentation, electrical, and project engineering teams.
• Support projects throughout the engineering and design lifecycle.
