Responsibilities
Conduct construction document reviews as required.
Plan, organize, and coordinate process and mechanical engineering activities within multidisciplinary design teams across planning, design, and construction phases, including project startup.
Prepare and review engineering calculations and specifications related to piping and demonstrate design experience in mechanical systems and equipment, including but not limited to system layout, selection, and integration.
Generate, verify, and review the accuracy of design and evaluation calculations, drawings, and technical specifications.
Utilize computer-aided drafting (CAD) applications to support design development and documentation.
Basic Job Requirements
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering.
Minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience in engineering design, estimating, specification development, construction document preparation, and related project phases (nuclear industry experience preferred).
Working knowledge of applicable federal regulations (including Department of Energy Orders), as well as state and local codes and standards relevant to mechanical engineering design.
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred but not required.
