Responsibilities

The Process Engineer is responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes across steel tub, shower base, and porcelain enamel operations to improve efficiency, throughput, quality, and cost performance. This role leads Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives; supports automation and Fanuc robotic programming; and drives root cause analysis, defect reduction, and corrective actions. The engineer executes capital projects, supports new product introductions, analyzes production and quality data, and collaborates closely with production, quality, maintenance, and engineering teams to enhance overall operational performance.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates have a bachelor's degree in engineering or an associate degree with equivalent technical experience, along with 2-5 years (or more) of manufacturing or process improvement experience. Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma tools, quality systems, and equipment optimization is required, with Yellow or Green Belt certification preferred. Hands‑on experience with robotic programming—especially Fanuc—along with strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and project management skills is highly valued. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment are also essential.
