Job summary

EQVAL Group, Inc. seeks Process Engineers to support development, validation, and implementation of new manufacturing processes in regulated environments.

You will perform validation, design inspection systems, work with automation and equipment like laser welding and injection molding, and collaborate across functions; 100% on-site in Puerto Rico.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering; Electrical or Mechanical preferred.
• Experience in regulated industries (Pharma/Biotech/Medical Devices).
• Experience with automated manufacturing systems and equipment.
• Proficient in DOE, FMEA, CAPA and root-cause investigation.
• Excellent technical writing skills; bilingual English/Spanish.
• On-site Puerto Rico work; willing to work 100% on site.

Responsibilities

• Perform process validation and equipment qualification activities/reports (IQ, OQ, PQ) and develop Master Validation Plans.
• Generate equipment documentation (evaluations, PM/calibration procedures) and manufacturing instructions.
• Design and develop in‑process and receiving inspection systems for new components and processes.
• Characterize, optimize, and improve manufacturing processes through DOE, PFMEA, and risk analysis.
• Work with technologies such as laser welding, heat bonding, injection molding, vision systems, and automation (PLC/servo/pneumatics/sensors).
• Core cross‑functional collaboration to support manufacturing goals in a regulated environment.
• Ensure compliance with quality and regulatory requirements; contribute to continuous improvement.

We are seeking Process Engineers that will supports the development, validation, and implementation of new manufacturing processes. The role involves documentation generation, process optimization, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Perform process validation and equipment qualification activities / reports (IQ, OQ, PQ) and develop Master Validation Plans.
• Generate equipment documentation (evaluations, PM/calibration procedures) and manufacturing instructions.
• Design and develop in‑process and receiving inspection systems for new components and processes.

• Previous experience in regulated industry (Pharma, Biotech, or Medical Devices).
• Experience with automated manufacturing system and equipment (laser welding, heat bonding, injection molding, vision systems).
• Experience with automation/controls, tooling, fixtures, test method development.
• Proficiency in DOE, FMEA, CAPA, and root‑cause investigation.
• Good technical writing skills.
• Fully bilingual (English and Spanish).
