Job summary

ABB in Bartlesville, OK is seeking a Manufacturing Process/Continuous Improvement engineer to optimize operations, audit production processes, and develop standardized work instructions. You will drive CI initiatives focusing on quality, cost, and on-time delivery, and implement manufacturing solutions like new processes, work cells, and test fixtures.

Responsibilities include designing facility layouts for new product introductions, improving workflow, and enhancing safety and ergonomics

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing or MET preferred; HS Diploma/GED with 5+ years of experience also considered.
  • Experience in a manufacturing setting is a significant plus.
  • Knowledge of SAP, Catia, and CAD/SolidWorks.
  • Lean/Six Sigma, SQL DB, coding, and reporting are a plus.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to perform various duties to support production process utilizing continuous improvement processes.

The work model for the role is:

Onsite in Bartlesville, OK.

Your role and responsibilities:

  • Engineer and implement manufacturing solutions including new processes, work cells, test fixtures, and jigs to improve efficiency, productivity, and product quality.

  • Improve workplace safety and ergonomics by conducting work cell assessments and implementing corrective actions that reduced risk and enhanced operator performance.

Qualifications for the role:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing or an MET Degree is preferred; HS Diploma/GED with 5+ Years of Experience will also be considered (or equivalent years of experience and combined education)
  • Experience in a manufacturing setting is a significant plus
  • Sound knowledge of engineering techniques, processes, and tools, including SAP, Catia, and CAD or SOLIDWORKS
  • Working knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma, SQL DB, coding, and reporting is a plus
  • High level of self-motivation, curiosity, and desire to learn about new technologies.
  • Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US permanently.
