Job summary

Corning Inc. in the Dallas area seeks a Process Development Technician to work closely with engineering teams to execute testing, validate processes, and transfer validated methods into manufacturing.

You will perform hands-on experiments, collect and interpret data, and prepare technical reports, supporting root-cause investigations and process improvements. This is a hands-on lab role with travel up to 25% and a strong emphasis on disciplined test execution and clear documentation.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a technical discipline or military equivalent.
• 2+ years in an experimental lab, testing, validation, or manufacturing.
• Experience with measurement systems and lab equipment.
• Ability to review data and make evidence-based recommendations.
• Travel about 25% of the time, potentially international.

Responsibilities

• Plan, set up, and execute experiments and validation testing with engineering teams.
• Perform hands-on testing using lab equipment and measurement systems.
• Collect, organize, and interpret data; identify trends and key findings.
• Prepare test records, summaries, and technical reports; develop methods and protocols.
• Support root cause investigations and process improvements.
