Job summary

Harba Solutions Inc. is seeking an experienced industrial automation engineer to lead PLC and HMI programming across process-control projects in Indiana. You will develop, review, and deploy control programs and contribute during design reviews and meetings.

You will support FAT/SAT and commissioning, create specifications and system records, and coordinate with vendors to keep projects on track. The role requires on-site work and travel to project sites as needed.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in industrial automation, process control, or controls engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with PLC programming and HMI development.
• Experience delivering automation projects from design through commissioning.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and control system documentation.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities across active projects.
• Comfortable working on-site and traveling as project needs require.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and deploy PLC and HMI programs supporting process control and automation systems
• Participate in design reviews and project meetings, contributing technical input from early planning stages
• Support FAT, SAT, and commissioning activities
• Develop and maintain automation documentation, including functional specifications, design specifications, and system configuration records
• Coordinate with vendors and cross-functional teams to track action items and keep projects on schedule
• Support integration of control systems with other plant and enterprise systems as needed
• Travel to project and vendor sites as needed to support installation and commissioning work
