Job summary
Novo Nordisk's Fill & Finish Expansions (FFEx) is seeking an informed technician to assist in operation, maintenance and system management of process control systems across site facilities in Clayton, NC. You will help ensure uptime and availability of controls, supporting production reliability in aseptic filling areas.
The role emphasizes troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and procedural development, with strong emphasis on CGMP compliance.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Electronics, Computers, Engineering or related field.
- High school diploma with four years of relevant instrumentation & control experience.
- Knowledgeable in supporting and maintaining process control systems.
- Familiar with PLC/SCADA/DCS systems and related software.
- Excellent organizational and planning skills; project management familiarity.
Responsibilities
- Support troubleshooting during process downtime.
- Inspect, troubleshoot & repair control system hardware.
- Perform routine, preventative and predictive maintenance.
- Assist in developing maintenance procedures.
- Support control system equipment installations.
- Assist in managing control system hardware inventory.
- Support plans to maintain and improve process control systems.
- Support technical clarifications with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Own self-development and initiative to understand site process control systems.
- Adhere to automation/IT standards and training readiness.
- Follow CGMPs and ensure product is manufactured per procedure.
