Job summary

Metallus in Canton, OH is offering a full-time Summer 2027 internship with hands-on experience in control systems, programming, and data management. You will collaborate with internal customers to propose changes, create new programs, and test/debug code while gaining real-world SQL database work and documentation experience.

Eligible students must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5, have completed 30+ credits, and be a full-time student at an accredited college or university.

Qualifications

• Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.
• Must have completed 30 or more credit hours by the end of the spring 2027 semester.
• Must be a full-time student attending an accredited two-year or four-year college/university.
• Preferred majors: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related.

Responsibilities

• Work with internal customers to determine control system changes as needed.
• Create new programs to help accomplish business goals.
• Test and debug new or existing code.
• Develop and maintain SQL databases.
• Document control system equipment and functionality.
