Job summary

LATICRETE International in the United States is seeking a motivated Process Engineering Laboratory Technician to support product development, color matching, and continuous improvement. The role involves laboratory testing on liquids and solids, data analysis, and collaboration with manufacturing and engineering teams.

The ideal candidate has 2–4+ years of lab or process experience, knowledge of color science and spectrophotometers, and proficiency with Excel.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering Technology, Materials Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 2-4+ years of laboratory, manufacturing, process support, or product testing experience.
• Experience with color matching and troubleshooting.
• Experience with color formulation and color correction software.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing on liquid and solid materials.
• Lead color matching activities for new product development and improvements.
• Utilize spectrophotometers and lab instruments to evaluate product performance.
• Support Engineering on building color databases.
• Maintain accurate lab records and test documentation.
• Assist with process development and continuous improvement testing.
• Participate in root cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Follow laboratory safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
