Overall Purpose of Position


The Process Chemist is responsible for supporting plant personnel to help improve or troubleshoot current processes. This position may also be assigned to be part of the new process development team.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities


  • Works with plant personnel to find root cause of issues and help find solutions.

  • Modifies processes as needed and documents \"best practices\".

  • Trains applicable personnel on \"best practices\".

  • Supports environmental and plant personnel with regards to water quality and waste water issues.

  • Provides support to \"new process\" development team.
