Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) from an accredited university.
• 3 years of mechanical engineering experience, preferably within infrastructure projects, process design, or batch processing systems.
• A strong aptitude combined with a desire to improve processes rather than perform routine plant maintenance.
• Proficiency in technical analysis (CAD, fluid dynamics, or thermal systems), strong communication skills for client relations, and a valid driver's license for regional field travel.

Responsibilities

• Process & System Optimization: Analyze regional infrastructure and batch process systems to identify bottlenecks, improve efficiency, and implement mechanical upgrades.
• Office Analysis & Design: Perform mechanical engineering calculations, fluid dynamics assessments, and thermal evaluations in the office to support project designs.
• Field Work & Inspections: Travel across the Chicagoland region to conduct field investigations, verify site conditions, and monitor project progress, alignment and design.
• Client Interaction: Act as a key technical contact for clients, presenting engineering solutions, delivering updates, and ensuring project goals are met.
