Job summary

TekWissen is representing a client in biotechnology product development services seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer / Capital Projects Engineer to support capital projects, equipment installations, commissioning, startup, and process improvement in a regulated manufacturing environment.

The role collaborates with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, EHS, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams, requiring hands-on engineering experience and strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
At least 4 years hands-on engineering in regulated manufacturing.
Experience with capital projects, installation, startup.
Ability to read P&IDs and drawings.
Strong problem-solving and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

Plan and execute capital projects and equipment installs.
Develop scopes, schedules, and cost estimates.
Coordinate with contractors and cross-functional teams.
Support equipment evaluation, installation, commissioning, startup.
Troubleshoot equipment and process issues during installation, startup, and production.
Collect and analyze data to support engineering decisions.
Participate in design reviews and process trials.
Support validation and change-control activities.
Prepare engineering scopes, reports, SOPs, and turnover docs.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce downtime, and optimize costs while maintaining safety.
