Job summary

Promega's Chappelle Manufacturing Center seeks an experienced process engineer to own capital projects and drive continuous improvement across API manufacturing. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to minimize downtime, optimize process performance, and manage project scope, schedule and budget.

You will lead design and transfer of new processes, troubleshoot equipment using DMAIC/FMEA methods, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance throughout the plant.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years engineering experience in small molecule API or related manufacturing environment.
• Strong safety mindset and problem solving.
• Experience leading cross-functional project teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead mid-size projects and report status to leadership.
• Develop engineering documents such as process descriptions, mass balances, and P&IDs.
• Coordinate continuous improvement and justify capital projects.
• Design and start-up of new manufacturing processes, equipment and utility systems.
• Apply DMAIC/RCFA/FMEA to troubleshoot equipment and processes.
