Job summary

Cindavi is seeking a Process Automation Engineer to join the Project Engineering Group, focusing on automation across PLC, DCS, HMI, and OT systems. The role involves helping shape the next generation of our plant and migrating to ABB 800M controls.

You will learn plant operations, work with experienced technical leaders, and become a trusted resource for automation decisions, troubleshooting, and project execution in Batesville, AR.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, test, and start up automation solutions for batch and continuous processes.
• Support upgrades and improvements across PLC, DCS, HMI, and plant networks.
• Program and troubleshoot using ladder logic, structured text, function blocks, and batch sequencing tools.
• Advance ABB 800xA/800M modernization while supporting Allen-Bradley, legacy DCS, and vendor systems.
• Collaborate with process engineering, project engineering, operations, electrical maintenance, and instrumentation teams to solve plant-wide problems.
• Diagnose root causes, improve reliability and capacity, develop procedures, and contribute to equipment and process design decisions.
• Participate in after-hours support when critical plant issues arise.
