Our Worldwide Operations network delivers millions of packages and smiles to Amazon customers every day. We are looking for motivated, customer-focused individuals who want to join our team as a Process Assistant. In this role, you will support delivery associates through each step of the delivery process and track delivery metrics. You will also be responsible for training all delivery associates in safety, compliance, and vehicle operation according to local, state, and federal requirements.
Our operation’s workflow has three major components: First mile, Middle mile, and Last mile. All workflows have slight variations, but our vision and dedication to the customer remain constant.
Key job responsibilities
- Partner with leadership to coordinate, facilitate, and measure training activities for Delivery Associates.
- Track and monitor performance, including on-road ride-alongs, to assess quality and identify improvement opportunities.
- Support standard work and safety programs.
- Train new Delivery Associates on vehicle operation.
- Cultivate a safe environment, ensure high-quality delivery, and promote a positive culture.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for delivery process areas.
- Promote a positive work culture.
- Ensure compliance with all laws and regulations.
- Conduct weekly performance reviews with delivery partners.
- Maintain trust and professionalism in communication.
- Work 40 hours/week with overtime as required, including weekends and overnight shifts.
- Be able to lift 49 pounds, stand, walk, and perform physical tasks during shifts lasting up to 12 hours.
- Work in variable environments, including outdoor and refrigerated settings.
Basic Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office applications.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to lift 49 pounds.
- At least 21 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Driver Qualification File.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience delivering training to individuals and groups.

- Ability to develop partnerships and exercise good judgment.
