Job summary

Amazon is seeking a flexible, detail‑oriented team member in California to support daily department operations in San Diego. You will help allocate labor, lead meetings, assign duties, and coordinate with internal and external suppliers while covering vacations for Area Managers.

Basic Qualifications

• 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience
• High school or equivalent
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
• Can lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
• Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required

• Education beyond High School, and/or prior experience managing employees
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated problem solving skills and analytical skills
• Demonstrated communication skills (written and verbal) with all levels of Amazon associates and management
• Experience with an FC kaizen or Shingi event
• An awareness and willingness to use OE tools and techniques
• Experience working in Problem Solve a plus
• Leadership ability
