Job summary

Valmet in Houston, TX is seeking a senior Process Analyzer FEED Engineer to drive analytical system integration for greenfield and brownfield projects. You will specify analytical technology, develop scopes, and prepare equipment datasheets while coordinating with sales, engineering, and production teams.

The ideal candidate has a BS in engineering, 10+ years in analyzer project engineering, and strong communication skills to collaborate with customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or Physics.
• Associates technical degree with strong background in analytical technology/systems will be considered.
• 10+ years experience in an analyzer project engineering role.
• Communicate complex design requirements with customers, the design team, and craftsmen.
• MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); AutoCAD, Solid Edge/SolidWorks, ChemCAD, Visual Basic a plus.

Responsibilities

• Determine the proper analytical technology and system integration solution as required.
• Provide written reports with recommendations for analysis improvements or equipment changes.
• Onsite support and scope development for new projects.
• Prepare datasheets, analyzer lists, and preliminary drawings.
• Direct the project designer in creating detailed drawings for shelters, racks, and electrical diagrams.
