Job summary

Eurofins USA PSS Insourcing Solutions in West Point, PA is seeking a Laboratory Technician to support analytical testing for process development. You will process samples, perform HPLC separation and data analysis, prepare buffers, and maintain instrument readiness while documenting activities electronically.

Ideal candidates have a B.S. in chemistry or biology, 3–6 months wet-lab experience, and proficiency with MS Excel/Word; Empower experience is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology or other scientific concentration.
• 3–6 months wet lab experience preferred.
• Experience with MS Excel and Word required; Empower highly preferred.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

Job Description

• Support the analytical testing for process development testing
• Processing of samples, HPLC separation and data analysis
• Prepare buffers, set up instruments, sterilization and cleaning of systems
• Document laboratory activities electronically
• Be responsible for following safe laboratory practices and for maintaining the work area in a clean, orderly and safe manner

Flexibility to work early morning and evening hours on an as-needed basis may be required for the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in chemistry, biology or other scientific concentration
• 3-6 months wet lab experience preferred
• Experience with MS Excel and Word required, experience wiht Empower highly preferred
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Ideal Experience:

• Strong computer, scientific and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivated, adaptable and positive attitude
• Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records and comply with company policies
• Experience in the analysis of therapeutic proteins using various HPLC and UPLC techniques

Additional Information

Position is full-time, Mon-Fri 8am-5pm, with overtime and weekends as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of West Point, PA are encouraged to apply.
