Job summary

Eurofins USA seeks a full-time team member in West Point, PA to perform sampling, labeling, aliquoting, and distribution of samples. You will maintain chain of custody, logs, and LIMS entries while ensuring GMP-compliant documentation.

The role requires a Bachelor's in biology or chemistry and at least 1 year of related experience, with strong scientific and organizational skills and excellent communication. Normal hours are 8 to 5, with potential overtime.

• Strong scientific and organizational skills are required.
• Excellent communication, both oral and written, and attention to detail for GMP documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical sampling, labeling, aliquoting, distribution, and monitoring of samples.
• Receive samples, maintain chain of custody, conduct inventory counts and logs.
• Document aliquots in Signals and respond to freezer/refrigerator temperature events.

• Performphysical sampling, labeling, aliquoting, distribution (import and export), and monitoring ofsamples globally
• Receipt of samples, maintaining chain of custody documentation, annual inventory counts, and keeping updated inventory logs.
• Perform aliquot of biological samples and document in Signals
• Respond to Freezer/Refrigerator temperature events
• Serve as primary logistics coordinator for major vaccine and biologics franchises in Analytical Research & Development
• Perform appropriate second scientist and second person review as required
• Maintain LIMS for vaccine and biologics franchises
• Ensure all work is compliant with local procedures and meets quality and regulatory expectations
• Follow current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) as they apply to the functions of the position

Basic Minimum Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or other related degree concentration with 1 year of related experience
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

The ideal candidate would possess :

• Strong scientific and organizational skills
• Excellent communication (oral and written)
• High level of attention to detail, in particular with the preparation of GMP documentation and the work associated with that documentation

Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, generally 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., but may vary to meet the assay needs; overtime as needed.Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of West Point, PA are encouraged to apply.
