Job summary

Precision Spine Care in Tyler, TX is seeking a Procedure Surgery Scheduler to join our team. The role coordinates surgeries, follow-up appointments, and related procedures, ensuring timely care for patients.

You will communicate with patients, physicians, facilities, and staff; obtain insurance authorizations; arrange logistics; and provide preoperative instructions while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy of records.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule surgeries, procedures, follow-up appointments, diagnostic testing, and other treatments.
• Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, facilities, and staff to ensure timely coordination of care.
• Obtain insurance authorizations and complete required preoperative, financial, and scheduling documentation.
• Arrange surgical logistics, including assistants, specialized equipment, and necessary materials.
• Provide patients with preoperative instructions and explain surgical and financial requirements.
• Submit patient information and medical records to facilities while maintaining confidentiality and compliance.
• Answer and direct phone calls, document messages, and maintain accurate patient records.
• Perform additional administrative and scheduling duties as assigned.
