Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of medical scheduling experience, strong communication, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; Meditech experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1-3 years of experience in medical scheduling.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Schedule procedures and coordinate with physicians, nurses, and the procedural team.
• Manage room and resource use to optimize efficiency.
• Receive and relay information via phone, fax, email, or scheduling bucket; document accordingly.
• Assist pre-admission by obtaining required documentation from referring offices.
