Job summary

OakLeaf Surgical Hospital seeks a Procedure RN to support outpatient procedures in a fast-paced setting. You will provide direct patient care, administer medications, and educate patients and families on pre- and post-surgical care while ensuring infection control and safety.

You will assess patient needs, coordinate with anesthesia and surgeons, document assessments in the EMR, and assist with preparing patients for procedures and recovery in the PACU.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the U.S.
• ADN required and Wisconsin RN licensure current
• BLS certification on hire; ACLS/PALS within 6 months
• Prior perioperative or general nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and administer medications as prescribed
• Educate patients and families on pre- and post-surgical instructions
• Assess patient needs and plan perioperative nursing care with the team
• Monitor equipment, maintain infection control and safety standards
• Document care accurately in the EMR and respond to emergencies
