Qualifications

• 7+ years in procedure programs or equivalent, with clear progression of responsibility.
• 5+ years managing technical projects.
• 5+ years in oil and gas, nuclear, or power generation.
• 3+ years of procedure writing or technical editing.
• Operations, production, or facility leadership experience: scheduling, resource planning, budget ownership.
• Track record delivering complex projects on time and on budget.
• Strong MS Office skills, especially Word and project scheduling software.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for your clients and own the relationship.
• Lead and mentor Procedure Program Analysts, writers, and technical experts.

Have you run procedure programs in high-consequence industries? We’re hiring a project manager to own client delivery end to end.

We’re looking for a project leader like you.

If you have spent time in operations and moved into project or quality leadership, you know why a badly written procedure fails at the point of work, and you know how to lead a team that fixes it. We help operators in oil and gas, nuclear, power generation, and other high-consequence industries write the procedures their people depend on. We’re hiring a Procedure Project Manager to own client projects end to end: scope, schedule, budget, quality, and the team that delivers them. This is a full-time, fully remote position with benefits. We’d rather be clear about that up front.

Procedure Project Manager

You’ll own client procedure projects from kickoff through delivery, lead a team of analysts and writers, and serve as the client’s main point of contact. The work is equal parts project management, quality leadership, and knowing how a good procedure actually gets written.

Full-Time, Remote

Work from anywhere in the U.S. This is a full-time remote role, with some flexibility to support clients in other time zones when a project calls for it. Equipment is provided.

• Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Word and project scheduling software

Preferred:

• PMP certification or equivalent


• QMS experience and auditing against standards like ISO 9001, API Q1, or API 5CT


• Structured root cause and corrective action (TapRooT, 5 Why, FMEA)


• Lean and continuous improvement (Kaizen, 5S)


• Familiarity with INPO, NRC, API, BSEE, or OSHA requirements
