Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in Dallas is seeking a Procedural Registered Nurse to oversee patient care by the healthcare team, assess patients, identify nursing diagnoses, and develop personalized care plans.

You will participate in on-call coverage after hours, ensure clinical judgement, teach patients and staff, and contribute to quality improvement while adhering to Texas nursing standards.

Qualifications

• Must have RN licensure and 2+ years experience in ED, Critical Care/ICU, OR, or Procedural areas.
• Graduated from an accredited nursing program and possess active RN license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• On-call availability is required based on department needs.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients, identify nursing diagnoses, and develop personalized care plans.
• Oversee patient care by the healthcare team and ensure safety.
• Provide clinical judgement to prioritize patient needs and adjust plans.
• Educate patients and staff, integrating teaching into care at all levels.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to standards.
