Job summary

CENTER FOR SPINE JOINT AND NEUROMUS is seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to support interventional pain management procedures in a busy, procedure-driven clinic. You will be responsible for rooming patients, taking vitals, and ensuring smooth workflow across multiple clinics in the Mount Juliet area.

Ideal candidates are CMA certified with experience in interventional settings, comfortable with injections and nerve blocks, and able to maintain calm professionalism while assisting physicians.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) preferred.
• Experience in interventional pain, orthopedics, spine, or surgical settings is a strong plus.
• Comfortable in a procedure-heavy environment and fast-paced clinic.
• Excellent communication and a calm, professional demeanor with patients in pain.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills; reliable team player.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and obtain vitals, pain scores, and history.
• Assist physicians during interventional procedures (injections, nerve blocks, RF ablations, spinal cord stim trials).
• Prepare procedure rooms and maintain sterile fields.
• Document procedures accurately in the EMR, ECW preferred.
• Manage pre- and post-procedure instructions and follow-up.
• Handle prior authorizations, referrals, and insurance tasks.
• Support clinic flow so physicians can stay focused on patient care.
