HCA Healthcare's St. Mark's Hospital is seeking a Procedural Inventory Technician IV to support OR operations through precise inventory management and collaboration with clinical staff.

This role leads supply chain activities within the operating room and works closely with the OR Internal Control Coordinator to ensure data integrity and efficiency. Responsibilities include maintaining MMIS accuracy, scheduling, replenishment optimization, Tissue Tracker oversight, and vendor relations to uphold

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• One to two years of Healthcare/Supply Chain experience required.
• OR Experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, implement, measure, and direct supply chain activities in OR/surgical services.
• Support OR operations through inventory management and collaboration with clinical teams.
• Promote clinical integration within supply chain across stakeholders.
• Coordinate with OR Internal Control Coordinator (ORICC) and Procedural Manager on data integrity and efficiency.
• Ensure items built in MMIS are accurate and complete.
• Prepare on-site schedules for Procedural Supply Chain Operations to meet scheduling needs.
• Manage daily Supply Chain Clinical Integration within the Procedural areas (ordering, restocking, case picking).
• Optimize replenishment processes for all OR inventory areas managed by Supply Chain.
• Manage the Tissue Tracker system (vendor certifications, recalls, quarterly inventory).
• Build and maintain relationships with surgical vendors and enforce Supply Chain Policies.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Procedural Tech IV is responsible for leading, implementing, measuring, and directing supply chain activities within the operating room/surgical services. The Procedural Tech IV is primarily responsible for supporting OR operations through inventory management and fostering a collaborative environment between supply chain and the clinical surgical services team members. This individual assist other stakeholders in promoting clinical integration within supply chain. In addition, this position works closely with the facility Supply Chain OR Internal Control Coordinator (ORICC), and the Supply Chain Division Director/Procedural Manager on data integrity, accuracy, and efficiency of the preference card process, supporting supply chain clinical resources for margin improvement, patient billing review, and process integrity initiatives.

• Ensures items built in the Materials Management Information Systems are accurate and complete.

• Prepares schedule for onsite Procedural Supply Chain Operations to meet clinical scheduling needs.

• Responsible for the daily Supply Chain Clinical Integration within the Procedural areas to include ordering, restocking, and case picking all Operating Room supplies.

• Responsible for optimization of replenishment processes for all OR inventory areas, which are managed by Supply Chain.

• Responsible for the management of the Tissue Tracker system, which includes vendor Certifications, Recalls, and Quarterly Inventory verification.

• Builds and maintains relationships with key surgical vendors holding them accountable to Supply Chain Policies and Procedures.

• Responsible for managing the implementation, cleanup and optimization of the OR Meditech Supply Inventory Dictionary and Supply Inventory on Physician Preference cards, when the OR Internal Control Coordinator is absent.

• Manages case picking of supplies and works with OR clinical staff and OR Internal Control Coordinator to maintain accuracy of case picking

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or GED Required

• Bachelor’s Degree Preferred

• One to two years of Healthcare/Supply Chain experience Required

• OR Experience Preferred
