Job summary

The Missouri Department of Corrections is seeking a Probation & Parole professional to support offender supervision, assessment, and reporting tasks across field assignments. You will collaborate with courts, Parole Board, and community agencies to ensure public safety and successful offender outcomes.

Qualified candidates bring relevant experience and a valid driver's license, with opportunities for training and career advancement within a supportive state-government environment.

Qualifications

• Four or more years of experience in Probation & Parole, Corrections, or related fields within the Missouri Department of Corrections.
• Possession of a valid vehicle operator’s license.
• Earned college credit hours may substitute for experience at a rate of 30 credit hours per year.

Responsibilities

• Investigates offenders' home, work, and social environments for court and Parole Board reports.
• Counsels offenders in homes, workplaces, or confinement and attends court as required.
• Assists in vocational/educational planning for offenders and coordinates with public/private agencies.
• Prepares statistical activity reports and may participate in investigations or special projects.
