Job summary

Oklahoma Department of Corrections in Oklahoma City region seeks Probation and Parole Officers to supervise offenders, assess criminogenic needs, and design transition plans. Qualifications

• Level II requires two years of correctional experience in social casework or a master’s degree in listed fields; Level III requires four years.
• Applicants must be willing to travel and possess a valid driver’s license; will undergo drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of adult felons with risk/need assessments and transition planning.
• Refer offenders to treatment and monitor action steps and conditions.
• Assist with employment placement and community reintegration.
• Conduct drug and alcohol screening and maintain documentation.
