The Alaska Department of Corrections, Lemon Creek Correctional Center in Juneau, seeks an Adult Probation Officer 1/2A to perform and supervise probation and parole duties for an adult offender population within an institutional setting.

Under the supervision of a Probation Officer III, you will manage and administer probation functions, contribute to offender management, and support public safety and successful reintegration efforts.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Four years of paraprofessional experience in probation, parole, pretrial, criminal justice, juvenile justice, social services, corrections, criminal investigation, public safety or law enforcement.
• Two possible substitutions include combinations of postsecondary education and paraprofessional experience as detailed in the vacancy.

• Perform, supervise, manage and administer probation and parole functions for adults within an institutional setting.
• Work under supervision to ensure compliance with program requirements and safety standards.
