Probation Officers will provide domestic and delinquent intake services, and juvenile probation and parole supervision. The officers will also provide effective interventions and services for competency development and accountability to promote juvenile behavioral change and public safety.
The role of Probation Officer requires extensive training throughout the first 12-18 months of employment. As part of this requirement, all newly hired Probation Officers must complete a 4-week, in person training within the first six months. Day and overnight travel are routine requirements for this position outside of training.

A valid driver’s license is required of DJJ employees to operate a state-owned or leased vehicle.
