Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major course work in corrections, criminal justice, psychology, sociology, social work, or a closely related field.
• All applicants are subject to a name-based criminal history background check.
• Must have a valid Driver's License and access to legal means of transportation.
• If employed by Court Services, the new employee must pass a fingerprint-based background check.

Responsabilités

• supervise defendants placed on probation and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with conditions.
• communicate with defendants and refer them to community resources as needed.
• conduct WRNA, LSCMI, and SASSI assessments; maintain records; monitor court dockets; enforce court orders; provide testimony; organize information for supervision transfers or arrest actions.
• work with law enforcement, court staff, District Attorney’s office and community partners to develop resources.
