Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Interpersonal skills to interact respectfully with clients and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of probation/pretrial supervision best practices is preferred.
• Familiarity with justice-involved clients experiencing trauma, mental health, and/or substance use is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare reports for sentencing and supervise adults and juveniles.
• Supervise a caseload, document contacts, and verify payments to the District Court.
• Compile monthly statistics and verify completion of probation conditions.
• Prepare pre-sentence and criminal history reports and liaise with agencies and the public.
• Testify in court as needed and perform related duties.
