Orion Placement is seeking an experienced probate and trust litigator in Orlando, FL. Join a respected practice handling sophisticated probate, trust, and fiduciary disputes with meaningful ownership and substantial courtroom exposure.

The role offers a hybrid schedule designed for autonomy and collaboration, with mentorship from experienced attorneys and a strong benefits package. Florida Bar license and 3+ years of direct probate experience are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of direct probate and trust litigation experience.
• Active Florida Bar membership in good standing.
• Substantive courtroom and deposition experience.
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.
• Excellent client communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle probate and trust litigation matters from case assessment through resolution.
• Represent clients in hearings, depositions, mediations, and other litigation proceedings.
• Prepare pleadings, motions, discovery, briefs, correspondence, and other legal documents.
• Conduct detailed legal research and develop effective litigation strategies.
• Communicate directly with clients and provide clear, practical legal guidance.
• Independently manage assigned matters while collaborating with attorneys and support staff.
• Prepare cases for trial and participate in trial proceedings when appropriate.
• Analyze complex probate, trust, fiduciary, and estate-related disputes and identify effective solutions.
