Job summary

Orion Placement is seeking a probate and trust litigation attorney in Florida for a hybrid Orlando-based role. The candidate will handle cases from assessment to resolution, represent clients in hearings and depositions, and prepare filings and legal documents.

You will conduct legal research, communicate clearly with clients, and work independently within a collaborative team. The position requires 3+ years of direct probate and trust litigation experience, active Florida Bar status, and strong

• Trial experience is a plus.
• Probate administration, estate planning, commercial litigation, or corporate law experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle probate and trust litigation matters from case assessment through resolution.
• Represent clients in hearings, depositions, mediations, and other litigation proceedings.
• Prepare pleadings, motions, discovery, briefs, correspondence, and other legal documents.
• Conduct detailed legal research and develop effective litigation strategies.
• Communicate directly with clients and provide clear, practical legal guidance.
• Independently manage assigned matters while collaborating with attorneys and support staff.
• Prepare cases for trial and participate in trial proceedings when appropriate.
• Analyze complex probate, trust, fiduciary, and estate-related disputes and identify effective solutions.
• Contribute to a high-quality practice where strong judgment, writing, advocacy, and client service are valued.
