Job summary

Summit Legacy Legal in Colorado is seeking an Associate Attorney to join our probate and trust litigation practice. The ideal candidate will have strong trial advocacy and exceptional legal writing skills, with 0–5 years of experience.

Prior probate exposure is welcomed but not required; a sharp mind and willingness to learn are essential. You will work with partners on complex fiduciary disputes, drafting, hearings, and discovery, and may handle oral arguments and depositions as opportunities

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active Colorado State Bar.
• 0–5 years of legal experience; recent grads encouraged.
• Writing and research skills to craft persuasive pleadings.

Responsibilities

• Manage litigation from intake to strategy, discovery, motions, and trial.
• Lead hearings, oral arguments, depositions, and trials.
• Perform thorough factual investigations and complex legal research.
• Provide aggressive courtroom advocacy for clients.
• Maintain proactive client communication and case updates.
• Collaborate with partners and contribute to strategy discussions.
