Job summary

Andy Frain Services seeks Security Officers to provide security detail at client sites in McLean, VA. You will protect people and property and maintain a professional image while delivering excellent customer service.

Duties include controlling entrances and movement, patrolling buildings and perimeters, escorting personnel, reviewing post orders, and reporting incidents promptly. Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED, be able to pass background and drug screening, have 3–6 months

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Background and drug screen required.
• 3–6 months experience in loss prevention, life safety, CCTV or access control.
• State Guard license is required.

Responsibilities

• Be on time and report to post in full uniform.
• Maintain professional image and greet customers, visitors and employees courteously.
• Be proactive in knowing revisions to post orders and information from the customer and AFS.
• Patrol property or stay at fixed post, report suspicious activity and investigate incidents.
• Monitor cameras or equipment per post orders.
• Know emergency policies and respond to alarms and emergencies.
• Complete Daily Activity Reports, Logs and Incident Reports.
• Suggest improvements to safety and loss prevention processes.
• Maintain knowledge of life safety systems and access doors; coordinate with contractors.
• Follow training and compliance guidelines as outlined by AFS and regulators.
• Communicate daily with Security Supervisor about new issues.
