Job summary

Absolute International Security is seeking an Unarmed Security Guard in Los Angeles. You will patrol, monitor access points, respond to incidents, and provide a visible security presence to protect people and property.

This part-time, non-exempt role requires strong customer service, a neat appearance, and the ability to work weekend shifts. California Guard Card, clean background, and CPR/First Aid are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
• Strong verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and perform physical tasks.
• Comfortable outdoors in varied weather and able to work shifts.

Responsibilities

• Act as a visible deterrent to prevent violations and unsafe behavior.
• Perform regular foot patrols of offices, parking lots, and storage areas.
• Monitor entrances/exits and maintain logs of visitors and vehicles.
• Observe, report, and respond to incidents, alarms, and disturbances.
• Prepare incident reports and daily activity logs.
• Communicate with supervisors, dispatchers, and clients via radio/phone.
• Assist in evacuations and coordinate with emergency responders as needed.
• Maintain a neat, professional appearance and uphold security postures.
