Job summary

The Contractor Consultants is seeking an experienced property maintenance professional to manage a portfolio of commercial and industrial properties around Pittsburgh. This hands-on role requires someone who takes pride in their work, can walk properties, identify issues, and complete repairs independently when possible.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of property maintenance, building maintenance, or handyman experience.
• Experience with plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general repairs.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands‑on maintenance and repairs throughout commercial and industrial properties
• Proactively walk properties and inspect buildings, common areas, parking lots, and grounds
• Identify maintenance issues before they become larger and more costly problems
• Troubleshoot and repair general plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and building‑related issues
• Complete painting, patching, drywall, fixture replacement, and other handyman tasks
• Respond to maintenance requests and service calls
• Maintain safe, clean, and professional properties for tenants and visitors
• Assist with seasonal maintenance including snow and ice removal
• Obtain vendor proposals and coordinate specialized contractors when necessary
• Track completed work and communicate maintenance needs to management
