Qualifications

• 5+ years of property maintenance, building maintenance, or handyman experience.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

• Perform hands‑on maintenance and repairs throughout commercial and industrial properties
• Proactively walk properties and inspect buildings, common areas, parking lots, and grounds
• Identify maintenance issues before they become larger and more costly problems
• Troubleshoot and repair general plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and building‑related issues
• Complete painting, patching, drywall, fixture replacement, and other handyman tasks
• Respond to maintenance requests and service calls
• Maintain safe, clean, and professional properties for tenants and visitors
• Assist with seasonal maintenance including snow and ice removal
• Obtain vendor proposals and coordinate specialized contractors when necessary
• Track completed work and communicate maintenance needs to management

Full-Time | Pittsburgh, PA | $25-$30 Per Hour

About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Property Maintenance professional to help maintain a portfolio of commercial and industrial properties throughout the Pittsburgh area. This is a hands-on position for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys solving problems. We are looking for a self-starter who can proactively walk properties, identify maintenance issues, determine the best course of action, and complete repairs independently whenever possible. The ideal candidate is experienced in general building maintenance and can handle a wide variety of repairs including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general handyman work. When a repair requires specialized expertise, this individual will coordinate with qualified vendors to ensure the issue is resolved properly.

What You’ll Do

Qualifications

• 5+ years of property maintenance, building maintenance, or handyman experience
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general repairs
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work indoors and outdoors

Compensation

• $25-$30 per hour based on experience
