Bowman Williams seeks a System Administrator for Los Angeles-area clients in a proactive MSP role. You will improve environments, document configurations, and reduce reactive tickets by aligning standards and performing audits.

This position blends local WFH with planned weekly client visits, focusing on security, stability, and ROI for our diverse client base. The role requires 5+ years of MSP infrastructure experience, strong Microsoft 365 and networking fundamentals, and excellent

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on infrastructure experience in an MSP environment.
• Strong knowledge of LAN, WAN, servers, endpoints, RMM tools, and security tooling.
• Ability to benchmark environments against documented standards and communicate risks clearly.

Responsibilities

• Review client LAN, WAN, servers, endpoints, security settings, and configurations against documented standards
• Identify misalignments, risks, recurring issues, and improvement opportunities
• Lead client service day activities, checklists, environment walkthroughs
• Build and maintain documentation in IT Glue, SharePoint, SOPs, client runbooks
• Translate findings into clear client-facing recommendations tied to security and ROI
• Partner with service, engineering, and client strategy teams to improve environment health and reduce reactive ticket volume
• Support planned weekly client visits across Los Angeles
