Iowa State Bank seeks a proactive Loan Assistant to support our Consumer, Agricultural, and Commercial loan officers. You will help manage the loan process from application to funding, delivering an outstanding customer experience at every step.

Key responsibilities include processing loan requests, verifying draw limits, coordinating with borrowers and third parties, and ensuring accurate loan documentation and filing.

Responsibilities

• Process loan requests and verify draw limits within approved customer terms.
• Communicate with borrowers and third parties to ensure tasks are completed on time and per requirements.
• Handle routine loan transactions and respond to loan inquiries as needed.
• Assist lender with loan documentation and closing preparation.
• Maintain and reconcile loan files to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Support community involvement and bank initiatives as part of duties.
