Socket.dev seeks an experienced irrigation systems technician to monitor, test, and troubleshoot installations. You will observe pipe and valve placements, evaluate start-ups, winterization, and overall system operation, while planning upgrades and documenting inspections.

Candidates should have 1–3 years in installation/inspection/repair of irrigation systems, a valid driver's license, and knowledge of trenchers, meters, locators, ditchers and pipe sizing.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of productive experience in installation, inspection and repair of irrigation systems.
• A valid driver's license.
• Knowledge of trenchers, multi-meters, wire locators, ditchers and pipe sizing is essential.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus; ability to read site maps and legends.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and test new irrigation installations; troubleshoot and repair problems.
• Observe pipe and valve placements; evaluate start-ups, winterization and overall operation.
• Plan and execute upgrades of client systems; conduct and record detailed inspections.
