Job summary

Air Comfort, Inc. is seeking an Irrigation Technician to install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems for residential and commercial properties. You will troubleshoot, test water coverage, and recommend upgrades while educating clients on best practices and conservation.

The role requires 2-3 years of irrigation installation experience, a valid driver’s license, and strong communication skills. Expect regular field work with a focus on quality service and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-3 years irrigation installation experience.
• Valid driver’s license and insurable.
• Proficient in basic math and clear communication (both verbal and written).
• Ability to interact professionally with customers.
• Strong time management skills.
• Physical ability to perform tasks requiring mobility, lifting to 75 pounds, and handling tools/equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems including sprinklers, drip systems, and valves.
• Conduct regular system inspections to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with irrigation systems, offering timely and effective solutions.
• Test and adjust irrigation systems to ensure proper water coverage and pressure.
• Provide recommendations for system upgrades or modifications to meet client needs.
• Maintain accurate records of service visits, repairs, and system upgrades.
• Educate clients on irrigation best practices and water conservation techniques.
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, technology, and best practices.
