Job summary

HouseholdStaffing is seeking a proactive, full-time Housekeeper/Family Assistant for a large, multi-level residence in Logan Circle, Washington, DC. The role emphasizes daily upkeep, organization, and thoughtful routines with occasional travel support.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, energetic, and able to anticipate needs, with comfort in light meal prep for gluten-free and dairy-free diets, and occasional child-related transportation support.

Qualifications

• Previous professional housekeeping or private-home experience.
• Experience maintaining large multi-level residences preferred.
• Excellent cleaning, laundry, organization and household-care skills.
• Highly proactive and able to work independently without constant direction.
• Strong problem-solving and anticipation skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the ~6,700-square-foot, five-story residence.
• Daily upkeep with rotating focus for detailed cleaning.
• Handle family laundry and ironing; manage dishes.
• Grocery shopping and errands across Logan Circle/DC area.
• Assist with light meal preparation and dietary restrictions.
• Assist with travel packing/unpacking and post-travel reset.
