Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Cyber Intelligence Fusion Analyst to sit at the Mark Center in Alexandria, VA. You will act as the proactive threat-hunting and intelligence-analysis engine within a Security Operations Center, leveraging all-source threat intelligence and enterprise telemetry to identify threats and adversary activity.

Responsibilities include proactive hunts, correlating data with tools and logs, and developing detection use cases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity or related field (or equivalent experience) and 8+ years cybersecurity experience
• Active TSSCI clearance
• DoD 8140 IAT Level II certification
• DoD 8140 CSSP Analyst (CSSP-A) certification within required timeframe
• 4+ years in cyber threat intelligence, threat hunting, incident response, or related cyber operations
• Experience applying MITRE ATT&CK, Cyber Kill Chain, or similar frameworks
• Hands-on threat hunting with hypothesis-driven hunts and IOC investigations
• Experience developing detection logic, analytic queries, and threat-hunting methodologies
• Strong SIEM, EDR, endpoint, network, NetFlow, packet capture, and log analysis
• Understanding of TCP/IP, OSI model, networking protocols, enterprise security architecture

Responsibilities

• Conduct proactive threat hunts and correlate intelligence with security tools and logs
• Develop detection use cases and analytic queries for threat hunting
• Provide actionable recommendations to improve security posture
• Brief senior leadership and collaborate with incident response teams
• Protect high-value government networks and operations
