Job summary

PAM Health is seeking an Advanced Wound Care & HBO Technician to support wound care and hyperbaric oxygen therapy. You will assist with dressing changes, wound care procedures, and be involved in documentation, patient monitoring and safety checks under supervision of licensed clinicians.

The role emphasizes accurate record-keeping, equipment readiness, and collaboration with providers to optimize patient outcomes in a busy clinical setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Active CMA/RMA certification or CNA where appropriate.
• BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with dressing changes, debridement and wound care under supervision.
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments and supplies; maintain a clean, safe clinical area.
• Room patients, record vital signs and assist with wound measurement and clinical photography.
• Position and prepare patients for treatment; provide education and reassurance.
• Coordinate product ordering, storage, inventory and expiration management for advanced modalities.
• Support hyperbaric treatments: pre-treatment checks, patient screening and monitoring.
• Assist with chamber setup, monitoring and treatment documentation.
• Recognize indications/contraindications and report observations to the provider.
• Track patient eligibility and prior authorization requirements.
• Assist with reimbursement documentation and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare or contribute to monthly leadership reports; identify growth opportunities.
• Maintain customer service standards and effective communication with providers, case managers and PACs.
• Follow safety protocols and OSHA training; adhere to universal precautions.
