Job summary

The Division of Undergraduate Education and Student Success at University of Oregon invites applications for its open pro tempore instructional pool. Potential teaching assignments may include ARC and FIG seminars, TAEC courses, and undergraduate research preparation with CURE and ODS.

Minimum requirements include a Master’s degree in a relevant field and at least two years of higher-ed teaching or instructional design experience; a PhD is preferred for certain assignments.

Qualifications

• The candidate holds a Master's degree in a relevant field with teaching or instructional design experience.
• PhD is preferred for advanced assignments within ARC, FIG, TAEC, and CURE.
• Bachelor's degree plus substantial related higher-ed experience may substitute for a Master's.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses in established curricular programs such as ARC and FIG seminars.
• Lead learning and study strategy courses offered through TAEC and CURE.
• Develop undergraduate research and scholarships preparation and development courses.
